This article will help you determine which solution is best suited to your vehicle or network.
Option 1: Integrated Solution
The Integrated solution is designed for networks and independent merchants using compatible dispatch systems, with metered fares flowing from your dispatch provided meter to the Cabcharge terminal.
This solution is for you if you utilise a dispatch system provided by:
Autocab
iCabbi
SmartMove
The hardware, software and metering functionality of these dispatch systems can vary depending on your preferred in-vehicle setup. If you are unsure whether your dispatch system is ready for integration to Cabcharge, please speak with your dispatch provider or contact Cabcharge support.
Option 2: All-in-One Solution
The All-in-One solution combines a meter and payment terminal into a single device. It is designed for merchants who do not require or who are not using a compatible dispatch system.
This solution is right for you if:
You operate independently
You use a another form of dispatch, such as two-way radio
You do not have a compatible dispatch system
For optimal connectivity, this device also requires a small, external GPS antenna that is fitted just above the dashboard and connected to the existing switch in your vehicle.
