What is the All-in-One solution?
The All-in-One solution replaces your FAREWAYplus payment terminal, hard meter, 4G modem and printer with a single payment terminal. Rather than managing multiple pieces of hardware and wiring in your vehicle, everything you need to calculate fares and process payments is handled in one place.
What's included?
The solution consists of:
An android, PAX A920 Pro payment terminal - combining meter and payment functionality
External GPS antenna - a small device fitted just above the dashboard (connected to the existing switch if you have one), required for optimal connectivity.
Cradle and ram mount to secure the terminal in the vehicle
Your installer will supply and fit both components as part of your installation.
Device placement
The All-in-One device must be positioned in the centre of the vehicle where the meter display is clearly visible to both the driver and passenger at all times. This is a regulatory requirement.
What drivers need to know
For drivers, the day-to-day experience is straightforward.
Fares are calculated directly on the device - no separate meter required
Passengers pay on the same device at the end of the trip
The terminal is designed to be intuitive, and will automatically recognise the card tapped, swiped or inserted - making payment faster than ever.

Can I self-install the solution?
No, the all-in-one solution must be installed by an authorised Cabcharge installer. This ensures your device and GPS antenna are correctly configured and installed from day one.
What happens to my FAREWAYplus equipment?
Your existing terminal, meter, printer and 4G modem will be removed as part of the installation process and replaced with the new terminal.
