Your device at a glance
Your Cabcharge All-in-One terminal is a PAX A920 Pro. Here's what's on the device:
Contactless reader — at the top of the terminal for tap payments
Swipe reader — for physical card swipes
Chip card reader — at the bottom for inserted cards
Touch screen display — your main interface
Power on/off button — on the side of the device
Scanner — for QR/barcode scanning
USB-C port — for charging
Volume buttons — on the side of the device
Your terminal also comes with a GPS antenna — a small device typically fitted just above the dashboard. This is required for fare accuracy and connectivity. Make sure it is connected and the antenna light is flashing before starting your shift.
Important: Always keep your terminal connected to power unless you are passing it to a passenger for payment. This prevents disconnection and ensures a seamless experience.
